Google Pixel 6a with Tensor SoC now official

The Pixel 6a features the same Google Tensor chipset as the Pixel 6, as well as 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

It has a smaller 6.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, and its refresh rate is only 60Hz, compared to 90Hz on the Pixel 6 and up to 120Hz on the Pixel 6 Pro.

The Pixel 6a shares the same aluminum frame as its bigger siblings, but the back panel is plastic this time. The phone has a 12.2MP f/1.7 dual-pixel main camera with optical image stabilization (as opposed to the 50MP on the normal Pixel 6), a 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP front camera.

This gadget is Google’s most affordable option in the Pixel 6 series, priced at USD 449 (the same as the Pixel 5a), and will be available online on July 21 and in shops on July 28 in the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia, but only in Taiwan and Singapore.
