According to NLEX management, a segment of the southbound lane will be restricted to allow for concrete work.
The closure will take place from 8:00 p.m. today to 5:00 a.m. the next day, February 22. A counter-flow lane will be set up on the northbound segment for Manila headed visitors to alleviate the impact. Expect at least one lane to be closed for traffic traveling north. According to NLEX, this is only one of several upgrades planned for this stretch of road.
Patrol crews and traffic marshals will be stationed near major intersections to alert motorists of the approaching roadwork and assist in keeping traffic flowing smoothly.
Drivers are urged to plan their journeys accordingly.
