Microsoft publishes guidelines for Android apps on Windows

Microsoft has given instructions for installing Android or iOS apps on a Windows 11 PC. Users must first download the Amazon Appstore to browse and install mobile apps from a carefully chosen inventory.

For running mobile apps on a Windows PC, Microsoft recommends 16GB of RAM, with 8GB being the minimum requirement. Running apps also necessitates the use of a solid-state disk.

Users must have a Core i3 8th Gen or higher processor, as well as a Ryzen 3000 or higher chipset. Users with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8c or above chipset can also utilize mobile apps on Windows.

Users must locate the Windows Subsystem for Android settings app in the Start menu and their app list after installing the Amazon Appstore. Users can then go to the Amazon Appstore and look through the available mobile apps.
