Ookla has revealed the results of its Speedtest Global Index rankings for July 2022, which show median mobile speeds of 22.56 Mbps and fixed broadband speeds of 75.62 Mbps.
Smart was the fastest mobile operator among leading carriers in the Philippines in Q1 2022, according to Ookla’s Speedtest Intelligence, with a median download speed of 24.07 Mbps, followed by DITO at 16.96 Mbps.
According to the survey, Smart has the worst latency at 19ms, while Globe has superior data consistency, with 79.4 percent of findings showing at least a 5 Mbps minimum download speed and a 1 Mbps minimum upload speed. Furthermore, Smart had the fastest median download in the Philippines for Q1 2022 on a 5G connection, at 200.43 Mbps.
