Nothing Phone 1 receives its first System update with July Patch

The first firmware update for the Nothing Phone 1 has already been released. The Nothing Phone 1 receives a patch for Nothing OS 1.1.0 that includes the required July security patch update for Android as well as bug fixes, camera updates, and new features.

Nothing Phone 1 is currently receiving its first software update in an attempt to fix the bugs that its users have encountered. Obviously, new features are also anticipated, with the integration of Tesla into the Nothing OS representing a significant update.

It operates via a Quick Settings toggle that enables a user to control a Tesla EV directly from the smartphone’s notification shade.

Included is a new NFT Gallery widget that allows users to display digital artworks on their home screen.

In terms of Camera enhancements, it is now possible to use Glyph fill light in Portrait Mode, noise reduction has been enhanced, and there is a greater dynamic range in low-light conditions.

Additionally, the ultrawide camera’s clarity and colors have been modified to be more consistent with the two rear cameras.

Other upcoming updates include compliance with the Android security patch for July 2022, the fix for the lock screen bug in which the fingerprint icon is sometimes absent, and enhancements to face unlock. There are also updates to the Glyph interface and improvements to the Nothing Phone 1’s standby power state battery life.
