He is now THE ‘Block Head,’ literally.

Block, Inc., a digital payments startup, has amended its bylaws to modify Twitter co-founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey’s title from “Chief Executive Officer” to “Block Head and Chairperson” of the company, effective immediately.
According to a regulatory filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission dated April 20, the title change is merely semantics, and Dorsey’s function and responsibilities as the Block Head will remain the same as a CEO.
The adjustment was made “at his request,” according to the document.
Elon Musk put “Technoking of Tesla” as one of his formal roles at the electric vehicle business last year in a similar filing.
Dorsey also co-created Block, Inc.—previously known as ‘Square’ and formed in 2009—which includes the Tidal music streaming service, Cash App, and TBD, a Bitcoin-focused banking business.
The photo of Dorsey’s blocky visage is genuine, and it can be found on Block’s official “Leadership” website.
