Spotify has recently launched this year’s edition of Wrapped. Spotify 2021 Wrapped is the company’s year-end celebration and a look back at its users’ listening habits.
According to Spotify, Filipino music dominated the local charts more than ever this year. In 2021, Zack Tabudlo, a Spotify RADAR Philippines artist, won the title of “Most Streamed Song” in the country. The top five most streamed songs in the country are Olivia Rodrigo, Bruno Mars, BTS, and Pink Sweat$.
Ben&Ben, Moira Dela Torre, Skusta Clee, Zack Tabudlo, and Arthur Nery are the top-streamed local artists for the second year in a row.
Jana Garcia, Yeng Constantino, and Nadine Lustre are leading Spotify’s EQUAL program this year, a global initiative to foster gender equity in music and shine a light on local female artists.
TWICE, BLACKPINK, IU, and SEVENTEEN rounded out the top 5, with K-Pop dominating the charts as the most streamed K-Pop Artist in the country.
Skypodcast and Sleeping Pill with Inka are the top two podcasts in the country, followed by Dear MOR: The Podcast, Boiling Water PH, and SUPERHUMAN with Will Dasovich.
Wrapped 2021: The Movie, Your Audio Aura, Playing Cars, and Wrapped 2021: Blend are among the new personalized Wrapped features introduced by Spotify Wrapped.
Users of Spotify will be able to access and share their customized Listener Wrapped experiences via social media.
