Qualcomm unveiled the Snapdragon G3x Gen1 Gaming Platform at the Snapdragon Tech Summit, an Android-based platform that gives gamers the best place to play and stream their favorite games from a console or PC.

To promote the new gaming platform, Qualcomm has teamed up with Razer. It has created the first Snapdragon G3x Handheld Gaming Developer Kit, which aims to provide developers with a device that has high-end graphics and is always connected.

Snapdragon G3x Gaming Platform features:
• Snapdragon G3x Gen1 Chip with Kryo CPU and Adreno GPU
• 120Hz 10-bit HDR Full HD+ OLED display capable of running 144fps
• Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 for WiFi 6 and 6E
• 5G mmWave
• 5MP 1080p60 Webcam
• Controller mapping from AKSys
• Snapdragon Sound w/ 4-way speaker
There’s no word yet on which other manufacturers will release devices based on the new Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 Gaming Platform, but Qualcomm’s Micah Knapp says the company is currently focusing on the developer community and that device launch is up to OEMs.
