Instagram users will be able to publish photos and videos from their desktops

Instagram will finally allow users to post from their computers. On October 21, the platform will roll out its most recent improvements, including the ability for users worldwide to submit photographs and short films directly from their desktop browser.

With this feature, you may now share a photo or a short video (under one minute) on Instagram entirely using a desktop browser. Furthermore, the post can include filters, captions, and location tags.

To recall, the platform is already testing the ability to submit photos from a desktop browser in June 2021.

Furthermore, Instagram historically only enabled users to access their feed through the browser, with restricted functionality such as messaging and checking for changes.

Instagram also announced this week that it would roll out new features to both the Instagram Feed and Reels, including collaborative tools, fundraising advice, and other Reels effects.
