Smart just launched GigaPlay, a mobile app that allows members to access free and exclusive entertainment.
Smart users can view special live sports and music events via the GigaPlay smartphone app. It is a mobile video streaming channel that allows users to watch videos from anywhere in the Philippines at any time. Subscribers to GigaPlay can watch free exclusive live concerts, live and on-demand sports, and their favorite K-idol shows without paying a monthly fee.
The GigaPlay streaming services are available to the following people:
• Prepaid – Smart Prepaid, TNT Prepaid, Bro Prepaid, and PLDT Home WiFi Prepaid
• Smart Postpaid (all plans, Infinity), Smart Bro Postpaid
When users start the app, they can enter any mobile number to see the content catalog. To stream the content, however, they must have a Smart Prepaid or Postpaid cellphone number.
According to Smart, users do not need to sign up for a data plan to watch videos on GigaPlay. Except for NBA, you can view any content using your Smart mobile data or PLDT WiFi connection. Furthermore, no further expenses are required.
Intelligent Prepaid subscribers who want to watch NBA content must first sign up for a Giga Video or Giga Video Pro data plan. On the other hand, Smart Signature Postpaid, Bro Postpaid, and Infinity Plan subscribers do not need to register for a data pack.
The GigaPlay app can now be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store.
