Dr. Angela Fernando-Villasenor, a pediatrician, volunteers for National mWellness Day “to assist our Filipino brothers and sisters.” I will also be assisting my co-frontliners in a small way, as at least one patient will be kept out of the hospital. I want to invite my colleagues to join me in providing free consultations via the mWell PH app on August 28 and 29.”

Additionally, physicians and clinics from across the country are invited to participate in National mWellness Day to reach out to more patients and give them accessible, responsive, and convenient medical care long after the pandemic is ended.
Kara David, a healthcare advocate and founder of Project Malasakit, will moderate the National wellness Day FB Live discussion on August 28 at 5 p.m. on the mWell FB page. She’ll discuss how mWell brings healthcare closer to Filipinos with volunteer doctors, patients, and special guests.
