GCash Padala money transfer service has been announced

The GCash Padala money transfer service, which allows users to send Money to friends and family who do not have a GCash account, has been announced.

Every time a user sends Money to a non-GCash user, an additional fee (depending on the amount) is deducted from their wallet, according to GCash. The minimum and maximum amounts that a user can send are PHP 500 and PHP 5,000, respectively. The fee will be refunded if the recipient claims the Money by signing up for GCash.

The fee for sending a minimum of PHP 500 will be fixed at PHP 5. The calculated fee is 1.5 percent of the amount if it is between PHP 500.01 and PHP 5,000. Here’s how you can send Money.

1. Open your GCash app and select Send Money from the dashboard.

2. Select GCash Padala.

3. Fill in the recipient’s information and tap Next (Ensure the recipient’s information is complete, accurate, and correct).

4. Before confirming, go over the details again. (Confirm that the receiver’s mobile number and personal information are correct and double-check the amount and fee amount to be deducted. The GCash Padala service will be charged a fee.

If you are the recipient of GCash Padala, you have two options for claiming your Money:

• Download and sign up for GCash – Once registered, cash will be automatically added to your GCash wallet.

• Claim your Money at an outlet – The recipient must visit a supported outlet or store from the GCash Padala Store List to claim their Money. Bring a valid government ID as well as your phone with the GCash SMS.

When you arrive at the counter, the cashier will confirm that you are the correct recipient. You will then present the following information: your name, the amount to be claimed, the reference number (found on the SMS), and your valid government ID. The recipient will also be required to complete a form for verification purposes.

GCash is available for both Android and iOS. Click here for more information.
