PayMaya has announced that it will now power the Philippine Red Cross’s online payment gateway (PRC).
Filipinos can now pay for PRC services online using any credit, debit, or prepaid card, as well as their PayMaya account, thanks to this partnership.
Furthermore, people who take PRC tests need to turn up at the PRC collection sites at their scheduled time, thanks to PayMaya’s booking and cashless payments.
“In our country’s battle against COVID-19, having access to COVID-19 tests is important. We are making it easier for people to access lifeline services by allowing the widest cashless payment acceptance via PayMaya’s online payment portal in our booking platform,” said Senator Richard J. Gordon, Chairman, and CEO of the Philippine Red Cross.
Follow the steps below to get PRC COVID-19 tests and other facilities.
- Go to the Philippine Red Cross booking platform at https://book.redcross.org.ph.
- Select the preferred location for the swab test and set the date and time.
- Click on “Book Now” to add the appointment to the Shopping Cart and click Checkout to proceed.
- Once you review the details, choose the preferred payment method, then proceed with cashless payment. The PRC will send an email confirmation. Do note that the results will also be emailed once the tests have been conducted.
COVID-19 Swab Tests are available at the PRC’s collection sites in Mandaluyong City, Manila’s Port Area, and Cebu’s Mandaue City. In addition, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the PRC provides an on-site RT-PCR Saliva Test for inbound passengers (NAIA).
Users may also schedule an appointment for an RT-PCR Saliva Test at one of the 153 PRC Saliva Collection Sites across the Philippines, which are located in select SM, Robinsons, and Ayala Mall branches, as well as Red Cross Chapters.
Aside from booking COVID-19 exams, PRC donors can take advantage of PayMaya’s cashless solutions while making donations, buying PRC goods, or applying for Philippine Red Cross membership cards.
The Philippine Red Cross Membership is a type of donation that includes an accident insurance policy for people aged 5 to 85. In addition, membership entitles an individual to all Red Cross programs in the event of an emergency, illness, or disaster, as well as reimbursements for accidental death, disablement, and dismemberment, hospitalization, and burial.
Meanwhile, go to this page to donate directly to the PRC using any credit, debit, prepaid card, or PayMaya account from anywhere in the world. PayMaya users can also contribute to PRC through the PayMaya app’s Bills Pay feature.
