Realme launched its first smartwatch, the aptly named Realme Watch, almost a year ago. Since then, the brand has expanded with two more Watch S models, but there is now a true successor to the original Realme Watch with the same square design.
The Watch 2 has the same 1.4-inch touchscreen IPS LCD with 320×320 pixel resolution and up to 600 nits of brightness as the Watch 1. Realme is introducing over 100 watch faces, including new live options. The right-hand side has a single button, and the entire package is IP68 water/dust resistant. The Watch 2 is 38 grams in weight.
Over 90 sports modes can now be tracked, up from 14 on the previous model. In addition to the standard heart rate and SpO2 monitors, you get to sleep and stress tracking. Smart AIoT control is available for all of your Realme smart devices and appliances.
Realme also significantly increased the Watch 2’s battery to 315mAh compared to the original model’s 160mAh cell, which should allow you to go up to 12 days on a single charge.
The price is MYR 229, which roughly translates to $55/€46/INR 4,125. When availability information becomes available, we will notify you.
