vivo Y36i with Mediatek Dimensity 6020, now official

Vivo has introduced a simplified version of the Y36 smartphone called the vivo Y36i. The Y36i was released in the Philippines in July 2023.

It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 chip, which is also used in the Honor 90 Lite and the realme 11. However, the other specifications aren’t particularly impressive.

We might also receive FunTouch OS 13 instead of OriginOS 3.0, which is specifically designed for the Chinese market.

The vivo Y36i costs CNY1,199 in China, which is approximately Php9,300 in the Philippines.

There is no official information about the release date in the Philippines, but based on past releases by vivo Philippines, it might be around 2 months after the global announcement. So, we can expect it to be available in late January or early February 2024 in the country.
