HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro now official

Huawei recently unveiled the HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro and its base variant in China, surprising many.

The device’s display is notable for its three punch holes located at the top. The device includes a front-facing camera and a 3D depth sensor for secure facial recognition.

Instead of adopting Apple’s Dynamic Island design, Huawei chose a distinct approach.

Its appearance resembles an ellipsis, making it noticeably peculiar.

Another noteworthy feature is the inclusion of satellite connectivity. Currently, this feature is only available for China Telecom users.

The new model features a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display that offers an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The device is equipped with a second-generation Kunlun glass to provide enhanced protection.

Huawei incorporates its ring design with XMAGE tuning on the camera module, which is flipped onto its back shell.

They also used a two-tone finish. There are a total of four color options available. The Green and Silver colorway features a glass top section. The Black and Purple product is made of faux leather material.

The chipset used in the HUAWEI Mate 60 Pro has not been officially announced by the company. However, a credible source suggests that the device utilizes a Kirin chipset developed by HUAWEI. The CPU is an octa-core processor comprising of four Cortex-A78 cores, four Cortex-A510 cores, and an in-house GPU called “Maleoon 910”.
