Philippine government introduces eGov PH Super App

The government of the Philippines has introduced a new application, the eGov PH Super App, to facilitate businesses that involve state agencies.

A ceremony was held by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Ivan John Uy, the Information and Technology Secretary, to launch the mobile application. The eGov PH Super App is designed to facilitate seamless transactions for the public and mitigate corruption in government.

This is the objective we are striving to achieve. The essence of e-governance is to integrate all aspects, simplify processes, and enhance accessibility. President Marcos expressed satisfaction with the direction towards achieving this goal. An additional crucial aspect that is often overlooked is the reduction of corruption, as stated by the speaker.

DICT is engaged in collaborative efforts with various government agencies to facilitate the development, implementation, and integration of multiple components, including but not limited to E-Local Government Units (ELGU), E-Government Application (EGovApp), EGovpay, E-Travel, and E-Cloud.

The objective of the application is to provide convenient access to both local and national government services. Additionally, it incorporates efficient government transactions that are purported to decrease the expenses incurred by both the government and citizens.
