Xiaomi Corporation has recently published its very first white paper on intellectual property (IP), showcasing the 29,000 patents it has obtained worldwide.
In its inaugural white paper, the company cited, among other patent accomplishments, 700 patents in smartphone charging technology, 1,000 patents in imaging technology, and 1,200 patents related to artificial intelligence.
According to Xiaomi, its global patent accomplishments span over 60 countries and regions, and the company has invested in R&D in 12 technological fields, including 5G technology, big data, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.
The white paper illustrates the Chinese company’s diverse IP accomplishments, technological innovations, and capabilities, as well as other IP developments.
