NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 prices in the Philippines revealed

NVIDIA has officially released the official pricing information for its newest RTX 4080 GPU in the Philippines.

The RTX 4080 is the second 4000 series GPU to be sold in the Philippines after the RTX 4090, which will be released on October 12. It will arrive in the country in November. The RTX 4080 will be available in two models, with the 12GB version costing PHP 63,200 and the 16GB version costing PHP 84,200.

The NVIDIA 4000 series range includes many advancements over the previous generation, such as:

  • Streaming multiprocessors with up to 83 teraflops of shader performance is twice as much as the preceding generation.
  • Third-generation RT Cores with up to 191 effective ray-tracing teraflops, which is 2.8 times the performance of the previous version.
  • Fourth-generation Tensor Cores with up to 1.32 Tensor petaflops, or five times the performance of the previous generation when accelerated by FP8.
  • Shader Execution Reordering (SER) improves execution performance by dynamically rescheduling shading workloads to optimize GPU resource utilization. As revolutionary for GPUs as out-of-order execution was for CPUs, SER increases ray-tracing performance by up to thrice and game framerates by up to twenty-five percent.
  • DLSS 3 is able to forecast motion in a scene thanks to the Ada Optical Flow Accelerator, enabling the neural network to increase frame rates while retaining image quality.
  • The combination of architectural enhancements and TSMC’s 4N manufacturing technology resulted in a twofold increase in power efficiency.
  • Dual NVIDIA Encoders (NVENC) reduce export times by as much as 50 percent and support AV1. OBS, Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve, Discord, and others are adopting the NVENC AV1 encoding.

The RTX 4080 16GB and 12GB models include distinct GPUs, CUDA Cores, Memory Bus Width, and Thermal Design Power (TDP).
