Google introduces Android 13 (Go edition) for modern entry-level smartphones

Google has launched the Android 13 (Go edition). It is a lighter version of the current version of Android designed for low-cost devices.

Android 13 prioritizes reliability, usability, and personalisation (Go version). Google Play System Changes are now available for Go devices, allowing phones to receive important software updates outside of a major Android release.

The Google Discover feed can be viewed to the left of your leftmost home screen on some Android skins. It is now available on cellphones with the Go edition. The Material You design language, which was previously exclusively available on non-Go edition Android handsets, is also making its debut.

It allows you to theme your phone’s whole color palette based on your background. Although you have four color schemes to choose from when selecting a wallpaper, it is not automated.

In addition, some critical Android 13 features, including as notification permissions and app language choices, are available in the Go edition. According to Google, new Android 13 (Go edition) smartphones must be released by 2023.
