Elon Musk has just completed his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, and other sources, Musk has also fired a number of Twitter’s senior executives, including CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, chief legal and policy officer Vijaya Gadde, and general counsel Sean Edgett.
This transpired after Musk visited the Twitter headquarters while carrying a sink and talking with Twitter personnel.

According to reports, Agrawal and Segal were present at Twitter headquarters for the closing of the deal and were escorted out.
The completion of Musk’s acquisition of Twitter concludes a difficult period for both Musk and Twitter, during which it was uncertain whether Musk would proceed with his acquisition.

In addition, Musk had previously attempted to back out of the agreement over the issue of spam bots and phony accounts on the social media network, accusing Twitter’s top executives of misleading him.
Following Twitter’s lawsuit against Musk in Delaware, Musk agreed to proceed with his acquisition of Twitter for USD 44 billion at USD 54.20 per share.

Elon Musk already owns Twitter, but his particular goals for the firm as well as who will occupy Twitter’s senior management positions remain unknown.
Especially considering previous claims of Musk’s intentions to reduce Twitter employment by as much as 75% and subsequent reports that Musk has amended his statement and does not want to lay off as many staff.
