DITO Telecommunity Corporation opened the first of two state-of-the-art Super Core Data Centers in Batangas City this week.
The DITO facility is the Philippines’ first Tier-III data center, with “the most modern industry innovative technologies and several security protocols:
“This disaster-resistant and environmentally friendly facility serves as the network’s brain, connecting all of our edge data centers and regional data centers,” said DITO Chief Technology Officer Retired Major General Rodolfo Santiago.
The DITO Super Core data center also has artificial intelligence management to improve operational efficiency. Its infrastructure and equipment are environmentally friendly.
During the launch, DITO vowed to offer social activities and services to support Batangas City’s older residents.
DITO, which has 12 million members, has also committed to providing improved connectivity and establishing telecommunities with common interests.
