Yield Guild Games (YGG), a play-to-earn (P2E) gaming guild, has announced its partnership with Nas Academy, a creator-focused educational platform, to launch their learning program titled ‘Web3 Metaversity,’ which will provide lessons on Web3 topics, unlocking new skills, and exploring income-earning opportunities in the Metaverse.
The collaboration combines YGG’s Web3 knowledge with Nas Academy’s ‘engaging storytelling and high-quality production’ to create the best learning experience possible. They will also upskill and provide members of the YGG community with access to income-generating opportunities in Web3 vocations such as community managers, content creators, cryptocurrency traders, NFT artists, or Web2 specialists.
Luis Buenaventura, YGG Pilipinas Country Manager, manages the Web3 Metaversity, which is housed on Nas Academy’s community learning platform, Nas.io, and where participants can connect with YGG’s core staff, scholarships managers, and community managers.
Among those scheduled to present in these sessions are YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon, YGG Pilipinas Minister of Information Celeste Rodriguez, and YGG Head of Esports Mike Ovecka.
“Building an educational community for the beginners in the crypto space has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I’m supremely excited to be able to help facilitate people’s first steps into this new world,” said Buenaventura in a press release.
“Working closely with Nas Academy Philippines ensures that the courses are short, fun, and jam-packed with actionable information. We can’t wait to share it with our respective communities, as well as the crypto-curious mainstream audiences,” he added.
Holders of the YGG Guild Badge NFT are automatically eligible for the program, and this can be minted for free on their website. Holders of the YGG Guild Badge NFT will have access to the following:
- Web3 Metaversity’s Discord server
- Video library where the videos on various Web3 topics are hosted
- Different resources that will support their learning journey
Registration begins today, August 23, on the Nas.io website, and portal access begins on September 8. The virtual launch party will take place on September 14.
