Canva, an online graphic design tool, has officially launched a new product called Whiteboards. It is Canva’s new way for teams to collaborate, allowing users to easily organize their ideas.

Canva Whiteboards is also available for free on the web, desktop, and mobile. What distinguishes Whiteboards from other standard Canva features is that they can be scaled; it’s like an endless canvas or infinite canvas without any borders, and this certainly promotes better collaboration.
“We’re excited to launch Canva Whiteboards to the world after more than a year of development, bringing the power our community knows and loves about Canva and enabling them to collaborate with their team on an infinite canvas,” said Melanie Perkins, CEO and co-founder of Canva. “In this day and age, where teams are working from all over the world, we believe that the right visual communication tools will not only help teams come together easily, but will also fuel greater collaboration and productivity in the workplace.” This is at the heart of Whiteboards, and we’re excited to see what magic it will unleash for our global community.”
Canva Whiteboards is best used for project workshopping, project planning, and brainstorming, and it allows users to map out their ideas in a simple but interactive way using Canva Editor.

Canva will also have a new paid subscription called Canva for Teams, which was announced on July 18, 2022. Canva for Teams will serve everyone from a small group to a large enterprise-scale team. Canva for Teams now includes all of the features of Canva Pro as well as other exclusive features of Canva for Enterprise. Canva Pro will continue to exist, but as a paid subscription only for solo users.
“We are excited to launch Canva Whiteboards and Canva for Teams in the Philippines as we continue to empower content creators, negotiators, and teams of all sizes to collaborate at scale, no matter where they are.” Canva Whiteboards will be instrumental in bringing any team’s ideas to life, while the introduction of Canva for Teams will empower businesses with an all-in-one design tool they need to create impactful content,” said Yani Hornilla-Donato, Country Manager of Canva Philippines.
