The results of Ookla’s Speedtest Global Index rankings for May 2022 have been announced, with median mobile speeds of 19.26 Mbps and fixed broadband speeds of 60.09 Mbps.

In more detail, the mobile median download speed is 19.26 Mbps, with a 5.46 Mbps upload speed, which is a little change from April’s findings of 19.45 Mbps download and 5.52 Mbps upload.
This month’s fixed broadband median download speed was 60.09 Mbps, with an upload speed of 56.44 Mbps, up from 55.21 Mbps download and 52.10 Mbps upload in April.
Global mobile performance is 30.37 Mbps, whereas global fixed broadband performance is 64.70 Mbps.
Norway currently has the fastest mobile download speed of 129.40 Mbps, while Singapore continues to have the fastest fixed broadband speed of 209.21 Mbps.
