Kaguya Sama Season 3 is now the most highly rated anime on My Anime List

The final double-length episode of Kaguya Sama: Love Is War was a major hit with anime fans, and as a result, the series’ third season has climbed the ranks of the “highest rated anime of all time” list.

Shirogane, the class president, stated to Kaguya in the finale that he will be skipping a grade and attending Standford for further study. This bothers Kaguya because she was about to confess to him, so she seeks advice from Hayasaka. Hayasaka predicts that there will be many beautiful girls in Standford, and if Kaguya does not reveal her feelings to Shirogane, he will fall in love with someone else. Shirogane, on the other hand, intends to confess to Kaguya. After three seasons of tormenting, Kaguya and Shirogane finally kiss. The episode was obviously a 10/10 for many fans, which is why the show has become the highest rated anime on MyAnimeList.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a well-known truth in the anime community that no other anime series can beat in terms of ratings. In fact, some series such as Gintama, Spy x Family, Fruit Basket, and Attack on Titan attempted to take the top spot, but Fullmetal Alchemist anime fans tend to review bomb all other anime series with low ratings whenever another anime attempts to replace Fullmetal Alchemist as the highest rated anime.

Season 3 of Kaguya Sama: Love Is War got a rating of 9.16/10 from 160,000 people. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, on the other side, gets a rating of 9.14/10 from 1.8 million members. It will be interesting to see how long Kaguya Samoa can maintain the top rank on the most popular anime list.

The production committee has not confirmed Kaguya Sama season 4, however a new anime project has been launched. The new anime project’s specifics are unknown.

The anime series is based on Aka Akasaka’s manga of the same name, which he wrote and illustrated. In May 2015, he began publishing the manga in Shueisha’s Miracle Jump magazine, then in 2016, he switched it to Weekly Young Jump magazine. The Crunchyroll portal hosts the anime series.
