Hunter x Hunter manga is set to resurface after a nearly three-year hiatus, as the series’ author is constantly working on new chapters. After the manga series returns to Shonen Jump magazine, it won’t be long before the Hunter x Hunter anime returns as well.

Gon Freecs went to see his father, while Killua chose to spend time with his younger sister, Alluka. Fans are now wondering whether they will see Gon and Killua again when the show returns. Gon’s battle with Neferpitou severely harmed his body. Gon was able to revert to his regular form thanks to Killua’s brother, Alluka, but he lost his Nen powers as well as his ability to perceive his own aura. Gon has opted to live a normal life with his aunt and has begun attending school.
Killua has dedicated his life to protecting his younger sister, Alluka, after saying goodbye to Gon Freecs. His family, who solely considered him as a commodity, abused his little sister very cruelly. Killua wants to do everything he can to safeguard Alluka because his family is still looking for her.
The manga’s current story revolves primarily around Kurapika. You may also say that he is the story’s present protagonist. Kurapika and Leorio are on a boat right now, guarding the infant prince in a Succession Contest. Kurapkia agreed to join the expedition in exchange for information on who has the Scarlet Eyes, which he is constantly looking for. The ship is sailing to the dark continent. This arc will be adapted in the next Hunter x Hunter anime season, hence Killua and Gon will not have any screen time.
The pacing of the manga series has recently been slow. Fans have remarked that there is too much conversation and not enough action. There is no indication in the manga chapters that we will see Gon and Killua again, but given that they are the two main protagonists of the plot, they will undoubtedly return in the near future. However, there is very little probability of Gon and Killua getting screen time in Hunter x Hunter season 7.
