Twitter will soon allow you to add people to your 'Circle'

Twitter may soon launch its Twitter Circles feature, which allows users to limit who can see their tweets.

The functionality will function similarly to Instagram’s Close Friends feature. The Close Friends option lets you to publish a story but only have a restricted number of followers view it. According to Android Police, Twitter is working on a similar feature called Circle, which will allow you to Tweet items that only a set number of people should see.

It was originally observed by some users when they visited the Twitter website or app and saw a pop-up tweet to their Circle. Composing a tweet by default is set to “Everyone,” but you may soon notice a new “Twitter Circle” option.

Users will be able to edit their Circle by adding or removing members, with a maximum of 150 persons in their Circle. Similarly, you’ll notice a green signal on the tweet indicating that only others in that user’s Circle can see it.

Twitter’s new Circle function will be a welcome addition for people who want to post more intimate content without exposing it to the rest of the world. But what are your thoughts on Twitter Circle? Let us know what you think in the comments!
