Microsoft Edge may soon have a VPN capability that many users desire.

A Microsoft support page announced that its online browser would soon have a free built-in VPN service dubbed the Edge Secure Network. The business claims this gadget will encrypt internet traffic. Microsoft Edge Secure Network is a Cloudflare service. Cloudflare respects your privacy and only gathers diagnostic and support data as a Microsoft data subprocessor. Every 25 hours, Cloudflare permanently deletes diagnostic and support data.
Users can utilize the option to safeguard their data from their current ISP. Users can also hide their location to access geo-restricted sites that are forbidden in their native country.
But there’s a catch. It only allows 1GB of data per month and requires a Microsoft account.
Microsoft hasn’t announced a precise release date for the service yet, so stay tuned.
