Grab PH has announced the launch of its new ‘Rent by Grab’ service in collaboration with Hertz PH. This is a car rental company that offers a wide range of vehicles to suit your needs.
The user can book through Rent by Grab at any time, however service hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Rent by Grab has four service hours available: four, eight, and twelve hours. Sedans (maximum 3 passengers), MPVs (maximum 6 passengers), and vans are the vehicles that can be reserved (max of 14 pax).
Furthermore, this service is currently available in Makati, Pasay, Pasig, Mandaluyong, BGC, and Taguig. Another disadvantage is that the drop-off locations are limited to Metro Manila. Users can make prior reservations using the ‘Later’ option, but they must do so for at least 4 hours and no more than 2 days.
Cashless payment is currently the only method available for this service. The rate indicated on the app already includes the rental, driver, and fuel, while the lessee is responsible for tolls, parking, and admission fees.
The user can connect with their driver via GrabChat, the app has a call option, and the user can also dial the number from the allocation notification. The user will be repaid in full if the driver does not arrive at the agreed destination 30 minutes after the agreed time.
