The realme 9 5G with Dimensity 810 5G and the realme 9 5G Speed Edition (SE) with Snapdragon 778 5G were released in mid-February, and now another pair of non-Pros has arrived: the realme 9 5G with Dimensity 810 5G and the realme 9 5G Speed Edition (SE) with Snapdragon 778 5G.
The Realme 9 5G SE features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD with a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz and a Snapdragon 778G chipset, making it speedier than the basic 9 Pro edition with Snapdragon 695. The phone is ideal for fast-paced gaming with a 240 Hz touch sampling rate.
The Realme 9 5G SE CPU is paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, which can be increased up to 13 GB via “Dynamic RAM Expansion,” 128GB UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge.
The basic realme 9 5G, on the other hand, has a 6.5-inch display but boasts the same peak brightness of 600 nits, a maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz, and Dimensity 810 under the hood.
The realme 9 5G comes standard with 4GB RAM and 64GB UFS 2.1 storage however it can be upgraded to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It has the same 5,000 mAh battery capacity, but it can only charge at 18W. On top of Android 11, both phones sport realme UI 2.0.
