Nokia Purebook Pro with Intel i3-1220p chipset, launched at MWC

Nokia may not be the first name that springs to mind when it comes to laptops, but that view may soon change thanks to OFF Global’s acquisition of an exclusive license arrangement to retail Nokia-branded laptops in at least 22 countries.

Nokia Purebook Pro, which was debuted at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, was the first device to be unveiled under this arrangement. The laptop is available in two sizes: 15.6 inches and 17.3 inches.

The 15-inch Nokia Purebook Pro, which weighs 1.7 kg and runs Windows 11, will be powered by an Intel i3-1220p chipset. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD storage. The 17-inch model, on the other hand, shares many of the same specs as its lighter sister, with the exception of battery capacity. The former has a 57 Wh capacity, whereas the latter has a 63 Wh capacity.

Both models offer two USB-C 3.2 ports, one USB-A 3.2 port, and a 3.5-mm audio connector for communication.

The 15-inch model costs EUR 699 (about Php40,140), while the 17-inch model costs EUR 799. (approximately Php45,890). While no official release date has been given, OFF Global is expected to introduce other laptop models later this year. At present time, the Philippines is not on the list of countries where OFF Global plans to sell Nokia laptops.

Nokia’s Booklet 3G was the company’s first worldwide notebook before the partnership with OFF Global.
