A cybersecurity firm detected a rogue program on the Google Play Store. The software takes your Login credentials in order to obtain access to your personal information, such as your credit cards, communications, searches, and more.

Pradeo, a cybersecurity firm, discovered that it steals data and sends it to a Russian server using social engineering tactics. This app has 100,000 users, but Google has already deleted it from the Play Store.
The app’s name is Craftsart Cartoon Photo Tools, and it masquerades as a legitimate photo-editing program. According to Pradeo, the app’s developer included a little piece of code that circumvents the Google Store’s safeguards. It also contains the Android malware Facestealer Trojan.

When a user launches your app, it displays a Facebook login page that prohibits them from using it unless they enter their account and password. When this information is entered, the hackers will receive it automatically.
If you still have this app installed, delete it immediately, then reset your Facebook password and enable 2-factor authentication for further security.
