PUBG MOBILE Philippines has revealed that Filipino-inspired content will be added to the PUBG MOBILE battlegrounds in 2022.
The Filipino fantasy creature, represented by a mythological bird, is set to be unveiled early this year. According to PUBG Mobile, it is imbued with elegance, splendor, and mystery, and it is a fantastic fit within the PUBG MOBILE world’s diversity of material. According to gamers, the name of this Pinoy-inspired set will be revealed very soon.
Last year, neighboring Southeast Asian countries published native material, such as Indonesia’s Gundala and Thailand’s Davika.
“The major purpose of PUBG MOBILE Philippines is to integrate Filipino themes in-game and to increase awareness of what the Philippines has to offer for a bigger audience, namely the PUBG MOBILE gaming community throughout the Southeast Asian region.” According to PUBG MOBILE Philippines Community Manager Gef Ferrer, “this will also catch Filipinos’ interest when they see familiar elements they’ve grown to grow up with.”

Furthermore, PUBG MOBILE is intended to collaborate with phone brands, merchandise brands, and snack brands across the country.
Meanwhile, PUBG MOBILE has launched the Influencer Partner Program, which is made up of PUBG MOBILE streamers and content creators from Facebook, Tiktok, and Youtube. These influencer partners will be the face of PUBG MOBILE and will receive monthly support and exclusive incentives from the game. The initiative will be open to both veteran content makers and beginner broadcasters, with the only criterion being a love and interest in mobile gaming.
