Meralco subsidiary eSakay, Inc. has joined up with tech-logistics business Mober to provide sustainable delivery services in the Philippines.

Mober will begin using an electric freight van fleet provided by eSakay, an end-to-end green mobility solutions provider. These vans are zero-emission commercial vehicles capable of transporting packages weighing up to 3,000 kilos. Each vehicle has a rated range of around 220 kilometers on a single charge, a top speed of 90 kilometers per hour, and can charge to 80 percent in less than an hour.
“We want to set an example in the Philippine logistics business and contribute to lowering our carbon footprint.” Our main focus has always been to deliver quick service. “Having a fleet of electric vehicles allows us to remain efficient while decreasing our carbon impact,” explains Mober Founder Dennis Ng.
eSakay and Mober’s collaboration aims to aid the country’s transition to clean energy and boost sustainable transportation operations.
