TCL unveiled Thunderbird Smart Glasses Pioneer Edition

The Thunderbird Smart Glasses Pioneer Edition, the first binocular full-color MicroLED AR glasses in China, has been released by TCL.

A full-color micro-LED holographic waveguide is built into the Thunderbird Smart Glasses’ transparent screen. TCL created a custom algorithm that allows the glasses to display a colored image. In addition, unlike its Xiaomi cousin, it produces full-color rather than monochrome output.

Users may read the news, check their calendars, operate their smart home gadgets, and more using the visuals projected on the lens with this set of smart glasses. The demonstration is available in the video below.

According to the demonstration, the smart glasses also have a built-in camera, which allows users to take photographs that are automatically transmitted to their smartphones. That said, Internet connectivity and other smart functions may still require the glasses to be connected to a mobile device.

There’s no indication on when the Thunderbird Smart Glasses will be available or how much they’ll cost. For additional information, keep checking our page.
