Globe’s network expansion and modernisation activities helped it maintain a mobile consistency score of 81.99 percent in the NCR and 76 percent nationwide.

According to Globe, their consistency score is comparable to worldwide benchmarks such as T-Mobile in the United States (84.8%), Videotron in Canada (87.3%), and Telekom in Germany (90.1%). The number of customer data transaction incidence that meets or exceeds both a download threshold of at least 5 Mbps and an upload threshold of at least 1 Mbps is measured by the Mobile Consistency Score.
According to Globe, these results translated to a more consistent and better experience for customers who are online and using social media sites like Facebook Live, Netflix, and YouTube.
Globe has upped its capital expenditures for this year to PHP 76 billion in order to meet its pledge of a #1stWorldNetwork, according to the company. The majority of the money is set aside for nationwide data network growth, particularly for its 5G network. In addition, as of the end of September, it has increased its 5G outdoor coverage in the National Capital Region to 95 percent and was present in 1,900 places around the country.
As of the end of September, Globe has also installed one million fiber-to-the-home lines, built new cell towers, and updated at least 12.9K sites. Click here to learn more about Globe.
