Group Effects are now accessible on Messenger video calls and Messenger rooms, according to Facebook.

Group Effects, according to Facebook, are new augmented reality experiences that can be used to augment everyone on a video conversation at the same time. Facebook has also announced that access to its new Spark AR Multipeer API will be expanded to allow more creators and developers to create Group Effects. All producers and developers can use the Spark Multipeer API to create dynamic, real-time interactive effects for larger audiences. At the end of the month, this will take effect.
There are presently 70 Group Effects in the collection, ranging from games to cute effects to pick from. Start a video conference or create a room in your Messenger app, tap the happy face to reveal the effects menu, and then select Group Effects.
The Group Effects feature is already accessible on the app, and it will soon be available on the Instagram app as well. Stay tuned for additional information on this.
