Globe’s new shop design, which mixes conventional brick-and-mortar Globe Stores with a digital retail format, continues to increase consumer experience while keeping them safe.

The hybrid solution, dubbed Shop & Pay, is a one-stop shop for all of Globe’s core products and services. It debuted as part of Globe’s annual 917 Day or September celebration, which was inspired by the company’s most prominent prefix: 0917. This month, Globe makes it a point to express its gratitude to its faithful consumers by introducing technologies that can improve their lives.
“Globe offers today’s life-enabling needs in a reimagined retail experience focused on customer attention and safety. We saw a great opportunity to integrate online and on-ground retail experiences for our customers with the pandemic and the increased acceptance of digital technologies,” said Bernie Llamzon, Globe EVP for Channel Management.

With the recurrence of COVID-19 instances, clients are looking for an alternate, safe, and convenient way to conduct business in the new normal, resulting in the quick shift to digital.
The Globe Shop & Pay digital kiosks will aid in overcoming customer aversion to visiting and transacting in physical establishments. Customers can instead utilize a computerized touchscreen display to purchase products and services. QR codes can be scanned to take you to online stores where you can make payments and place delivery orders.
Customers can use the “lift and learn” option to discover more about the various goods. When a demo unit is lifted, the video will be interrupted to reveal the phone’s characteristics and the accompanying hero offer that comes with it. When two demo units are lifted, a table comparing phone features and plan offers appears.

The digital displays also inform users about various digital channels, promoting mobile apps such as GlobeOne, GCash, and Globe At Home apps to aid in the shift to digital transformation.
Similarly, vending machines are available in Globe Shop & Pay kiosks for bill payment, GCash cash-in, load top-up, and the purchase of prepaid call cards and SIM cards.
