'Genshin Impact' x 'Horizon Zero Dawn' Collaboration Adds Adorable Aloy as New 5-Star Character

Horizon Forbidden West, the highly awaited sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, will be released this fall, but if you can’t wait to hunt machines with Aloy, you can start hunting Ruin Guards now. In a limited-time event, MiHoYo and Sony have announced that Aloy will join the universe of Teyvat. Beginning in October, all Genshin Impact players will have access to Aloy, who will be available for free. MiHoYo is also releasing a new 4-star weapon explicitly designed for Aloy.

The nicest aspect is that Aloy will be free of any gacha mechanics. All adventurers with an Adventure Rank of 20 or higher will have access to her. Once the Genshin Impact 2.1 version is available, login and Aloy will be sent to you via in-game mail.

Aloy’s stats have yet to be published by MiHoYo, although she will be a 5-star character. She will be a Cryo Bow character with the Predator bow as her special weapon. The attack will increase by 66 if Aloy uses the bow. The bow, like Aloy, will be accessible for free and will be sent to all players via in-game mail. Aloy will be released in two phases, the first of which will be for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players. Aloy will be given to all PlayStation users that check in to Genshin Impact after October 13th. After version 2.2, which ends on November 23rd, travelers from other platforms will obtain Aloy.

Aloy will be available for download across all platforms and will not be limited to PlayStation customers. Even though the rewards are free, you must reach Adventure Rank 20 to receive them. The event is only accessible for a limited time, so start playing Genshin Impact right away; the game is free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile.
