Huawei Sound X 2021 with 360-degree all-metal sound hole, now official

The Huawei Sound X 2021, the company’s newest smart speaker, has been formally released.

The Huawei Sound X 2021 has a three-way speaker system with one 4.75-inch woofer, four 1.5-inch full-range speakers, and one 1.25-inch tweeter designed in partnership with Devialet. Two passive radiators are also included. Huawei claims that their three-tone level technology can produce deeper bass, a better midrange, and a brighter and more transparent treble.

The Huawei Sound X 2021 features a 360-degree all-metal sound hole and a 3D curved surface with seamless technology, both of which are inspired by the traditional design of tube amplifiers. It also has 48 full-color LED lights with 7+1 amazing light effects pre-installed. All of them can be used as indicators for Guidance connectivity, voice response, dynamic music effect, status indication, wallpaper mode, and so on.

The Huawei Sound X 2021 also has a six-microphone ring control panel at the device’s center top. It has volume controls, microphone activation, play and pause controls, and light controls.

The Huawei Sound X 2021 is the world’s first smart speaker to include HarmonyOS 2 for smartphone connectivity. This eliminates the need for a third-party program, allowing the smart speaker to connect directly to associated PCs or smartphones. Furthermore, thilso allows for simple voice integration and the creation of a home theater with a single click.

CNY 2,199 gets you the Huawei Sound X 2021. It is now available for pre-order in China and will be available for purchase on August 12.
