Following the completion and modernization of several sites in the last six months, more customers in Batangas, Bohol, Bukidnon, Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, and seven other provinces will now have better access to Globe’s 4G LTE network.

At least 507 sites in Batangas province have been upgraded to 4G LTE from the previous 3G network. Globe has also upgraded 488 Metro Manila locations and 450 Cebu sites to 4G LTE, the new mobile data standard.
“These network enhancements will provide better call, SMS, and data browsing services to our customers, particularly in areas where connectivity is most needed. As we have promised since the beginning of the year, we intend to make 4G LTE more prevalent not only in Luzon but also in Visayas and Mindanao,” said Joel Agustin, Globe SVP for Program Delivery, Network Technical Group.
In Mindanao, 366 sites in Davao del Sur are powered by 4G LTE, while 126 sites in Davao del Norte have been upgraded. 79 sites in Bukidnon have been upgraded to 4G LTE.
Bohol now has 85 4G LTE-enabled locations. Globe has also upgraded 111 Cagayan sites, 88 Rizal sites, 195 Cavite sites, 328 Laguna sites, and 358 Pampanga sites.
