DITO Telecomunity has hired M Lhuillier to increase the reach of its products and services across the country, the company announced on Tuesday.

According to the third telco since June 1, DITO products and services have been offered at 3,000 M Lhuillier branches and via the ML Wallet app.
M Lhuillier is a non-bank financial institution with a national presence.
“With M Lhuillier’s help, we can make DITO products and services accessible to more Filipinos nationwide,” DITO Sales Director Angel Mercado said.
SIM cards are sold via DITO-approved resellers, official storefronts, and online e-commerce sites, and reloading is done through the DITO mobile app.
DITO, run by a Davao-based businessman Dennis Uy and China Telecom, began commercial service in March.
It will be subjected to a second-year technical audit in July. The authorities will assess whether it has met its pledge to reach 51 percent of the population and provide a minimum internet speed of 51 megabits per second.
The telco, which is currently building its network to fight Globe Telecom and PLDT Inc’s duopoly, previously said that it had surpassed 1 million subscribers barely three months after its inception.
