The Philippines ’Social Security System (SSS) recently released the easy payment process for contributions with the SSS Mobile App online payment via BPI.
Individual members, including Self-employed, Voluntary, and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) with existing BPI accounts, can pay their contributions in an easy and secure transaction. Just read below how to process payment for contributions using BPI.
Instructions:
- To pay for SSS via BPI, SSS members must first download the SSS Mobile Application from the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Huawei AppGallery.
- Generate a Payment Reference Number (PRN) by selecting the appropriate Membership type, applicable period, and chosen monthly contribution.
- Once a PRN is generated, select ‘Pay,’ then choose ‘BPI’ as payment method.
- After being re-directed to the BPI site, enter your BPI log-in credentials, and select your BPI account for your contribution payment.
- Enter the One-Time PIN (OTP) sent to your BPI-registered mobile number to proceed. There will be a pop-up message or notification showing the successful payment of the SSS contribution.
BPI charges PHP 15 convenience fee per transaction.
Apart from BPI, SSS members can also pay with PayMaya or other online transactions provided by partner-banks and collection partners.
