The Third of The Philippines or DITO Telecommunity stated on their company disclosure released on Friday, March 12, that their service is likely to start rolling out their services in Metro Manila in May or June.
Last February, the National Telecommunications Commission announced the Dennis Uy-owned telecommunications network passed its first technical audit. Independent auditor KPMG RG Manabat and Co. found that Dito’s average broadband speed hit 507.5 megabits per second (Mbps) for 5G and 85.9 Mbps for 4G, well above its promised average broadband speed of 27 Mbps for 37% of the national population in its first year of operations.
On Monday, March 8, the DITO Commercial Roll-out began in some areas of Visayas and Mindanao.
