In their DITO FAQs on their website, they released that DITO Subscribers will start receiving Calls or Texts to other telecom networks in the Month of March or April.
In recent weeks, DITO Telecommunity has entered into interconnection deals with Globe and Smart. The interconnection deal is a government mandate move to allow DITO subscribers to be able to send and receive calls or texts, and vice versa.
But it has not yet been activated, DITO Telecom said that they are currently working with other network providers for interconnectivity. They also said that within the month of March or April, its subscribers will be able to connect with subscribers from other networks.
DITO Telecom told their subscribers, that in the meantime take advantage of its unlimited data “WELCOME OFFER” to connect to family and friends using other network providers via Facebook, Viber, and other messaging and video calling apps.
