vivo Y12s 2021 with Snapdragon 439 SoC and 5,000 mAh battery

The Vivo Y12s was released last year, and the company has now released a new version called the Vivo Y12s 2021. With a few minor exceptions, the two are almost identical.

For instance, last year’s Y12s were powered by an Helio P35 SoC, while a Snapdragon 439 chip powers the Y12s 2021. Furthermore, the Y12s 2021 comes with a single memory configuration – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage – and runs Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11 out of the box rather than Android 10. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage.

The rest of the specs on the Y12s 2021 remain the same, including a 6.51″ HD+ LCD, an 8MP selfie camera, and a dual-camera system on the back with 13MP primary and 2MP depth units.

The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and a 5,000 mAh battery that can charge at up to 10W via a micro-USB port while also supporting reverse wired charging at up to 5W.

The Vivo Y12s 2021 is available in two colors: Mysterious Black and Ice Blue. It’s available in Vietnam for VND3,290,000 ($140/€115) from online retailer FPTShop, but its availability in other markets is uncertain.
