Starlink internet download speeds of SpaceX exceed 200Mbps

SpaceX is making great strides with its satellite-based internet service, Starlink, with one customer in Sonoma County, California, demonstrating that he was receiving 200Mbps of bandwidth from his Starlink internet service.

With Starlink, you won’t get 200Mbps out of the box or around the clock, but it’s all about what the service is capable of. The user’s lowest of the six results he shared with Wccftech was 44Mbps, but this increased slightly as the tests progressed.

SpaceX informed the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in October 2020 that the average download speed for its Starlink internet service would be about 80Mbps, up from the 43Mbps average speed discussed in September. However, other US users have seen 190Mbps, while Starlink users in Seattle and New York have seen 230-240Mbps. Not too shabby at all.
