Spotify has recently unveiled a new ad experience dubbed call-to-action (CTA) cards, available across podcasts.
CTA cards will appear in the app as soon as a podcast ad begins playing and will reappear later in the Spotify app while you’re exploring it.
Spotify makes it easy to investigate the brand, product, or service mentioned while listening. Furthermore, it will make it easier for you to find the products and services you’re looking for without having to remember a difficult-to-remember promo code or vanity URL.
“With the debut of this new ad experience, we’re making podcast advertising interactive for the first time, converting the format from something that can only be heard to an experience that you can also see — and, most importantly, click,” Spotify wrote in a blog post.
CTA cards will be accessible in select Spotify Original and Exclusive podcasts in the United States.
