Spotify adds new music and podcast discovery feeds to its home screen

Spotify has now announced that it will redesign its Home feed to feature separate feeds for “Music” and “Podcasts & Shows.”

Although it may appear that not much has changed, there are two links at the top of the Home page, one for Music and one for Podcasts & Shows. Spotify claims that its new layout will allow customers to easily navigate through the type of content they want and will tailor the experience.

This allows users to rapidly access their Music feed, which includes quick access ideas based on their music preferences, music recommendations, and buttons to share, like, and play music.

While the Podcast & Series feed will direct readers to new episodes of their favorite shows. Personalized podcast recommendations will also be displayed, making it much easier to read podcast descriptions, save to Your Episodes, and play podcasts without leaving the page.

The new Home feed may not appear to be much, but it makes it much easier for Program listeners to find the podcast they want to listen to.

The new Home makeover is now available for Android devices. While iOS users will have to wait for further updates, which are expected in the near future.
